Brooke has been editing since her college years at University of Missouri-Columbia, where she obtained a B.A. in Communication. After graduating from Harvard Law School, she practiced law for over 20 years including a great deal of legal writing and editing.
In 2002, she became Editor "LegalPro") for EditAvenue.com where she became the 2nd-ranked editor out of over 50 with a 5-star Customer Rating, according her Elite Status. During this time, she began studying the finer points of APA formatting, and since then she has edited over 100 APA-formatted dissertations, theses, proposals, and journal articles for students and professors across North America.
